The Highland Wildcats have a new look going into 2014.
The team has had the same uniforms since 2006. Next year will seem them getting a bit of an update. Gregory Simara from Black Cube Designs was the master mind behind the new uniform with suggestions and adaptions from staff members and players.
The design keeps the traditional black jerseys with silver numbers and red outline but adding in the new logo (designed by Steve Russam) on the neck and right shoulder, TV numbers on on the right shoulder and the new Wildcats writing across the chest. The left shoulder and the bottom right of the players ribs will also be covered in red scratches. The cuffs and neck have been given an update too with a thin red stripe now cutting through the silver.
Both the Wildcats squads will be wearing black game pants from now on and will continue to wear black and white socks (not shown in picture). The new Wildcats logo will be replacing the old red and white Wildcat face on the helmets too.
The best bit of all for the players is that, for the first time ever, it is planned to have the players names on the back of the shirts.
