After the 41-0 victory against the East Kilbride Pirates the Wildcats played the Hamilton Buccaneers in the second game of the Moray Tournament in Lossiemouth. Just like in the first match the Wildcats opened the scoring with a huge touchdown by running back Mark Pyper who  ran the entire length of the field. The Wildcats then opted to go for 2 point conversion which they succeeded in and the score became 8-0.

With the momentum in the hands of the Wildcats they scored a second touchdown courtesy of running back Seumas Ross who caught the ball from quarterback Euan Crawford. This was quickly followed by a two point conversion attempt which was also successful leaving the score at 16-0 to the Wildcats.

Ross then rushed the entire length of the field when the Wildcats got the ball back after an unsuccessful drive by the Buccaneers. This was also converted for two points which meant the Wildcats now had 24 points on the board.

Running back Alasdair Howie then set up a touchdown on the next Wildcats drive by rushing 42 yards up field which put the Wildcats in a dangerous position. Seumas Ross then capitalised on the ground made and scored a 14 yard rushing touchdown. The touchdown was converted for 2 points and the score was now 32-0 to the Wildcats.

Before the end of the half the Buccaneers managed to score a touchdown from running back Scott Dunnachie which was the first points conceded by the defending champions this year. The conversion attempt however was no good leaving the score at half time 32-6 to the Wildcats.

The Wildcats bounced back from this minor set back in the second half by scoring another touchdown from a 15 yard rush by Mark Pyper which was set up by Seumas Ross making ground on the previous plays. Kyle Holleyoake then rushed the 12 yards required for a two point conversion which left the score at 40-6 to the champions.

On the next drive the Wildcats gained valuable field position as a result of large yardage gained by the running backs. They were in the no run zone and  quarterback Cameron Robertson found rookie Euan Trommino in the endzone for his first ever Wildcats touchdown. Unfortunately the conversion attempt was unsuccessful but it left the score at 46-6 to the Wildcats.

Mark Pyper then scored his 5th touchdown of the game and his 7th of the season as a result of a 12 yard reception from quarterback Euan Crawford. The conversion attempt was unsuccessful but the score was now 52-6 to the Wildcats.

Alasdair Howie then added his name to the score sheet after a 32 yard touchdown which was set up by good field position by Mark Pyper. The conversion attempt may have been unsuccessful but the score was 58-6.

The Buccaneers fought back with another Dunnachie touchdown which they deserved for not giving up until the very end of the match. Unfortunately for the Hamilton Buccaneers the Wildcats were too strong and just before the end of the game Seumas Ross scored his third touchdown of the game and his 4th for the Wildcats which put the score at 64-12.

Stepehen McMeechan received the MVP award for his tenacity as nose tackle and the causing of two fumbles which lead to points being scored on the board.

This result left the Wildcats unbeaten heading into the final match of the tournament against the Tide with a +93 points difference.
